Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival

Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival is a photo festival created in 2015 in Xiamen by Sam Stourdzé, the director of Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles, and Chinese photographer RongRong, founder of China’s first photography museum, Three Shadows Photography Art Centre (Beijing and Xiamen), with the support of Xiamen’s Jimei District. In just three years, Jimei × Arles has grown to become an unmissable event for photo lovers in China in just three years, attracting more than 160,000 visitors (60,000 in 2017).

Since its third edition (2017), Doors 门艺 is in charge of the art direction, production, communications (online & offline), press relations, partnerships, event & PR, of Jimei x Arles photo festival.

The 2018 edition of the festival takes place in Xiamen from November 23, 2018 to January 2, 2019.
