Proust Questionnaire: Guo Yingguang
Guo Yingguang graduated from the University of the Arts London. She has worked as a photojournalist for Reuters, China Daily and other media. She has also photographed portraits and biographies for famous people such as Joe Hisaishi. With the series "The Bliss of Conformity", she became the first artist to receive the Jimei x Arles-Madame Figaro Women Photographers Award. Guo answered for Doors the Proust Questionnaire (a parlor game popularized by French writer Marcel Proust, who believed that answering these questions reveal an individual’s true nature).
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
I think you are only aware of perfect happiness at the moment it happens
What is your greatest fear?
To not have an idea, not not have something to get excited about
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I stop being rational when I'm most vulnerable
What is your greatest extravagance?
Lindy hop; dancing on sleepless nights at training sessions all over the world

Sometimes anxious, but mostly stable

Respect for the elderly, loving the young
On what occasion do you lie?
I think this is irrelevant, the more you think about it, the more you'll waste time on it

When my brain is too big

Negative feelings about one thing do not spread to other things

The quality of being sensitive
