Sun Dawei's Proust Questionnaire

The Chinese fashion designer, who created his brand Dawei after being the artistic director of Cacharel and having working for Balenciaga and John Galliano, was one of seven fashion designers invited as part of the First Franco-Chinese Fashion Meetings in Spring 2018. He answered the Proust Questionnaire for Doors.

Things going smoothly as planned.

When things don’t go as planned.

I put on weight easily.

I can’t stand charming people.

Going all out for something.

What quality do you most like in women?

Toughness and endurance.

I say, “not bad” quite a lot.

What talent would you like to have?

The talent to manage.

No.

Where would you like to live?

In a farm in the countryside surrounded by mountains and water.

What is your most precious thing?

Family and friends.

Who is your favourite author?

I like historical books.

The 15th century Chinese philosopher Wang Yangming
